What this month often looks like

A few babies never crawl, and use another way instead — scooting on their bottom, or slithering on their stomach. As long as each arm and leg is used equally, that is no cause for concern.
Changing position to reach something is often the first sign that the destination mattered more than the comfort. None of these is ahead of the others.
