What this helps with
A certified first-aid instructor teaches you what to do in the moments that matter — choking, unresponsiveness, and the everyday emergencies that frighten parents most. You practise on manikins rather than only watching, because the point is that your hands know what to do before you need them.
What happens
Practise infant and child CPR, what to do when a child is choking, and how to judge when something needs emergency care. Grandparents, nannies and anyone else who looks after your child can attend with you. This is training, not a medical certification — and it does not replace calling 112 in an emergency.
